Method Of Application
This is a highly transparent, hard, low – haze glass thermal insulation coating. It meets the JBT29501~2013national and T/CADBM9-2018 industry standards. The coating is crystal – clear with excellent spectral selectivity. It’s ideal for architectural and transportation glass, offering transparency, thermal insulation, sun protection, heat retention, and energy – saving benefits.
Application Scope: Glass in building doors and windows, curtain walls.
Tools and Materials: Infinity Sunshield thermal insulation coating (A+B), thinner, sponge brush, lint-free cloth trough, brush board, abrasive pad, pipette, etc.
Construction Notes: 1.For outdoor work, ensure no rain within 24 hours. Do it in themorning or evening to avoid fast curing in hot weather. Indoors, keep the temperature under 30°C. 2.Dilution is usually unnecessary. If the temperature exceeds 30°C, add the thinner gradually, keeping the amount between 10% – 50%. Never exceed 50%.
Application Steps: 1. Mix materials A and B in a 1:l ratio as per the daily usage, and shake for 1 – 2 minutes. 2. Scrape off surface attachments on the glass with a spatula and protect the window frame with trace – freemasking tape. 3. Clean the glass surface, crucial for oil – contaminated glass. 4. Clean the glass with a little water, wipe and air – dry it. 5. Apply the mixed coating at 20 – 25g/m? using a sponge brush from top to bottom. Let it flow and dry. Avoid touching for 3 – 5 days to ensure proper curing Regular cleaning can be done later with mild soap water microfiber cloths etc.
Care & Maintenance Guide
Avoid deep cleaning the coated glass using scrapers, steel wool, cleaning alcohol, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage or remove the coating from the glass surface. Do not apply or remove stickers, labels, or adhesive materials on glass surfaces treated with Infinity SunShield, as this may affect coating performance. Improper cleaning, maintenance, or handling may void the product, serice warranty.
